Stop Living Life in Your Rearview Mirror

If you want to create balance in your life instead of living your current juggling act, then living a rearview mirror lifestyle is not for you.

Do you know people that live in the world of victimhood? The world of “would have,” “could have,” and “should have”? Do they live in the past filled with doom and gloom, and a mantra of “nothing good ever happens to me?” Are these the same people that make you dread Mondays because they are so caustic and toxic from their rearview mirror lives that you’d really like to start the week with Tuesday and end on Thursday? Is their rearview mirror outlook also yours?

It’s time to stop living in the past. If you are always looking backwards, living in the past and only see negativity, how can you see your future or move toward it?

Create the Future You Want

Balance is the result of getting in control of your life and living in the now, not the past. It is achieved through the use of Feng Shui principles, an Ancient Chinese practice that is more relevant than ever in today’s culture. If you are looking for ways to create balance and calm in your life instead of stress, peace where there is chaos and self-control instead of anxiousness and exhaustion, use its principles.

Get in-control and energized by uncluttering. If you are faced every morning with clutter in your bedroom, on the dining room table, in the kitchen or office, it is hard to face the day. You are overwhelmed by what you see before you even begin. All the clutter weights you down and makes you feel exhausted, anxious and tired.

Get in-control of yourself by getting in control of clutter. Get rid of it. The rule of thumb is: “If you don’t need it, can’t wear it or don’t love it, get rid of it.” You will save time because you will no longer need to search for things. You will save money because you don’t need to repurchase it. You will have more energy because the exhausting energy-draining clutter is gone. And, you will have more abundance because you have made room for it to enter your life.

Create calm and balance. You eliminated much of the chaos in your life when you uncluttered. Now, you need to eliminate stress by developing “wind and water” balance. Wind and water is the literal translation for Feng Shui. Just what is the right amount of wind – a gentle cooling breeze on a hot summer day, not a gale force wind that creates summer hurricanes or winter blizzards? As to water, balance is a gentle lake or bubbling stream, not ferocious waves pounding the shore or a fast-moving river overflowing its banks and causing endless destruction. Determine what in your life creates the right balance. Do you need to eliminate invasive sounds and replace them with calming music? Do you need to surround yourself with soothing colors and calm people? Do you need to get a different job? When you eliminate stress, you will create balance and improve your life.

Attract positive energy things and people. By uncluttering and creating a more balanced life, you are more energized and in-control, and thus you have tilted the playing field to your advantage. As a result, you have also stopped attracting the stressful things and people into your life.

Be aware that the energy you attract is a mirror image of what you send out. Once you have stabilized into the new you with less stress, more calm and balance you can no longer live a rearview mirror lifestyle because you will want to look forward and create a life of your choosing.  You will consciously select the path to attract better health, wealth, abundance, positive relationships and prosperity. Living a positive energy Feng Shui lifestyle is one of the keys in the law of attraction.

Stop looking in the rearview mirror and live in the future. Let go of your past to get in-control. Create your own calm so you can attract the future you want.
