Wealth Begins at Home

A common belief is that wealth, financial wealth, comes from outside the home, through a job or investments. It is a little known fact that wealth actually begins at home where you sleep, eat and live according to Feng Shui principles.

When areas of your home are out of balance by being filled with clutter or the wrong things, wealth becomes stagnant. It doesn’t grow; instead it diminishes or completely goes away, as in the loss of a job.

Great care always needs to be taken in the home to encourage wealth and prosperity growth, while eliminating those things that are standing in the way. Blockages, such as stacks of magazines, unopened boxes or piles of clothing, can keep you from finding the growth and prosperity you seek.

Focus on the Positive

Change your thinking. Before you start to focus on the positive it is important that you eliminate and clutter and energy blockages in your home. First, remove the old and unnecessary stuff to make room for the new energy to enter. If you do not clear out the old “stuff” and blockages, you will simply energize more “stuff” to stand in your way, preventing you from receiving what you seek. Be merciless and get rid of the things you no longer need, want or serve you well.

Next, eliminate negative thinking – all of those “would have,” “could have,” and “if onlys.” They are mental clutter and prevent you from thinking “I have everything therefore need nothing.” Two successful ways to eliminate negative thinking are:

  1. write all negative thoughts on sheets of paper and shred those thoughts; continue this process as often as needed, or

  2. mentally place all negative thoughts into a black balloon and allow it to float up into the sky out of sight allowing the universe’s perfect energy to purify them

Once you’ve completed this exercise, allow only positive thoughts to enter and send old negative thinking away. Post a mental “no trespassing” sign to prevent their reentry.

Activate Wealth Energy

Four areas of your home play a major role in creating wealth and prosperity. Take a close look to make sure all negative energy and blockages are removed from these areas before you activate them.

North area of your home, your home office and bedroom – this is the career, income generating and business opportunities area and can be activated or energized with a water fountain, a picture of moving, not rushing water or a picture of koi fish, an aquarium, or something blue such as a blue marble statue or other blue semi-precious rocks. Do not use red or candles in this area as the fire element drains the productivity of the blue water element.

Southeast area of your home, your home office and bedroom – this area is all about money, financial growth and abundance. The best energizer here is a healthy upward- reaching plant or flower — income should blossom and flourish. The moment a plant does not look healthy, replace it. If you do not have a green thumb, a quality silk plant will work. An alternative would be a picture of a flourishing forest or a tall wooden box or a tall slender wooden cabinet. Do not put electronic equipment here, it zaps growth energy.

South area of your home, bedroom and living room – this is the good luck, reputation and good fortune area of your home, bedroom and living room. To activate this area use red, such as red candles, a red glass vase with a narrowing top or even a picture of a mountain framed in red. Even a red number nine works in this area as its directional number in Feng Shui is nine. Do not use a water element in this area as it drowns the high fire energy of the south.

Northwest area of your home, your home office and living room – this area represents helpful people, mentors and travel energy. Everyone needs people who serve as mentors, or can help network or assist you in obtaining your wealth. For example, realtors need a large list of referrals to succeed in selling or listing properties. Those referrals are considered helpful people. To activate this area place a picture of you and people you’ve successfully worked with in a silver frame, or try a silver gazing globe or travel symbols such as airplanes or cruise ships. Trophies are also a great symbol to place in this area.

Note: if any of these areas are in a bathroom, do not activate the energy in the bathroom but rather on the wall outside the bathroom or in the adjacent room. If you energize the bathroom your wealth could actually flow right down the drain. To prevent this, be sure to keep drains in bathrooms closed and the toilet lid down. If you cannot close a drain lift the stopper out of the drain and paint a circle out of sight with red nail polish. The red acts as a stop sign or do-not-enter sign preventing the drainage of your wealth. When dry, replace the drain stopper.

Let this easy process become your roadmap to a more successful and wealthier you. Take action today and activate your prosperous future.
